25 Plus at 1st May Session!
More than 25 boys and girls from youth through high school came to play at Long Beach Youth Lacrosse’s first May 2016 Session.
Players represent 18 different schools: Wilson, La Mirada, LB Poly, Lakewood, Jordan, Cabrillo, Northwood, Naples, Steven Foster, Rogers, Franklin, Sierra Vista, Stanford, Lowell, Cubberley, Stephens, Intellectual Virtues Academy, and Mann.
“It was great to see lots of new faces. The competition and skill level is developing, as we were able to have two divisions of youth and teen,” says director Coach Mike Song. “This allows us to appropriate development according to skill, physical, and age level.”
2nd May Session is this May 21:
1900 Walnut Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806
Frequently Asked Question – Can my son/daughter start in the middle of a program?
YES. You can start any time. Lacrosse is a skilled sport, and those skills do take time to develop. It takes at least 3 sessions for anyone to develop the basic cradling, throwing, and catching competencies — And then it takes a lifetime to perfect those skills :). It helps to practice 30 minutes on your own each week!
